LOCAL BATTERY/COMMON BATTERY SWITCH
This switch allows the telephone set to operate on internal or switching facility power. Local battery (LB) position allows the telephone
to operate on four batteries (BA-42). Switching facility power will consist of ac or dc current. If the facility is using ac current the switch
should be set to AC/CB. If dc current is used, the switch should be set to DC/CB. The ac and dc settings must be the same as those
of the MODE SELECTOR SWITCH.
MODE SELECTOR SWITCH
The MODE SELECTOR SWITCH will allow you to adjust the telephone set to work with switching facilities which use either ac or dc
current. If ac current is used, the switch will be in the AC SUPV position; if dc current is used, the switch will be in the DC SUPV
position. The POINT TO POINT position is used when two telephone sets are connected directly to each other without a switching
facility.
